WATCH: Goldberg discusses why he returned to WWE, facing Brock lesnar at Survivor Series, more

Bill Goldberg spoke with Scott Stanford on the PIX11 News Morning Show on Tuesday to promote his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar at Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Goldberg said that coming back to WWE is one of the coolest experiences ever for him as he gets to be a superhero to kids again. He brought up his son being able to see him wrestle for the first time live at the event.

Stanford read a tweet by Paul Heyman in which Heyman apologizes for the pain and suffering that’s coming Goldberg’s way at the event from Lesnar. Goldberg said that hopes Heyman doesn’t get caught in the crossfire during the match. Goldberg added that Heyman is a good mouthpiece for Lesnar. Goldberg noted that it has to be nice to go in and beat people up without having to talk.

Regarding his WWE return, Goldberg admitted that he is nuts for returning to the company after 12-years. Goldberg noted that he got a physical last week and the doctor asked him why he is doing this. Goldberg says that it’s for a bigger cause as it’s not for him trying to prove anything but rather it’s something he can share with his family and if he gets to beat Lesnar again then why not. Goldberg said that he is giving Lesnar the chance to make it 1-1 and that he is going to give him a shot to get the win back from their match at WrestleMania 20 in 2004.
