WATCH: Jerry Lawler and Rikishi pay tribute to Brian Christopher at Memphis Grizzlies game
WWE Hall of Famers in Rikishi and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler paid tribute to the late Brian Christopher, who passed away last July.
This tribute took place on Saturday night at the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game. The Grizzlies were celebrating “Memphis Grizzlies Wrestling Night” where they had Rikishi and Lawler do the Too Cool dance with the Grizzlies cheerleaders. There was also a match during the game pitting Lawler and Rikishi against Rick and Scott Steiner. Lawler pinned Scott after Buff Bagwell’s interference backfired.
This was all done to honor Lawler’s late son. During this appearance, Lawler wore his son’s entrance vest and adopted the “Grand Master Sexay” nickname as a one night member of Too Cool. Rikishi was in the group with Christopher as well as Scotty 2 Hotty in the WWE back in the early 2000s.
