WATCH: Kane tells funny story about his unmasking

Kane will appear on the third episode of “Steve Austin: The Broken Skull Sessions” on their streaming service.

The episode will air on the WWE Network immediately following NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II this Sunday.

WWE’s YouTube channel released this video of Kane talking about his infamous unmasking at Madison Square Garden in 2003.

This is where Kane brought up how his one regret about the angle was the fact that he decided to surprise his wife with the information.

“It’s wild, yeah, I actually was a little nervous because I hadn’t told my wife about this. My wife loved my long hair. I wanted her to see it and be shocked just like everybody else, and she was.”

Kane continued by noting that Bruce Prichard came up with the idea to partially shave his head. Halfway through it, Prichard said stop because they need to show Vince McMahon.

“I should have said right then keep going. Of course in the heat of the moment I’m like oh yeah, this is going to be awesome, and then yeah, I’m sitting there like, wait a second, I got to go to like Outback, with this, I got to pick my kids up at school.”
