WATCH: Lana cries over Women’s Title loss on SmackDown Live, Naomi responds

Lana tried her best but to be perfectly honest she was probably over her head from the get-go. Nobody can deny she didn’t impress because most people thought she was going to crash and burn due to the pressure. She also didn’t have nearly enough wrestling experience to deserve a SmackDown Women’s title match. But she was able to stand toe-to-toe with the SmackDown Women’s champion at Money In The Bank and on SmackDown Live.

Unfortunately for Lana, neither time worked out well for her. She even tried some underhanded tactics, but it just didn’t go her way. At Money In The Bank Carmella came down and distracted Naomi and on SmackDown Live Lana straight up jumped her before the bell. The least successful attempt was obviously her latest one as Naomi pretty much squashed Lana with one move. All it took was a split-legged moonsault and that was all she wrote for the Ravishing Russian. Lana was even able to hit her finishing move, but it just caused Naomi to kick out even stronger.

Now all Lana has from her two shots at the SmackDown Women’s Championship are memories of defeat. Her hope seems to be dashed and she needed to let out a good cry about it.

When she was interviewed backstage about her most recent defeat all Lana could do was weep. She had a real chance to show some emotional acting range here and pulled it off with flying colors. She might not be able to win a championship, but at least she can cry on command.

It looks like Lana isn’t happy about the fact it doesn’t seem like anything she can say will get her another shot. She might be moving back to the bottom of the pile, but she’s doing better than her husband Rusev because at least she is on television. On a sidenote: we really miss Rusev.

Naomi wasn’t shy to rub in her victory a little bit either. She said she doesn’t normally like to see people cry, but The Glow was willing to make an exception for Lana. You can check out these ladies’ reactions as well as their match below.
