Diamond Dallas Page has provided an encouraging update on Lex Luger’s condition.
The update revealed that Luger can now stand without assistance, a significant improvement in his battle. Luger has a spinal cord injury that has left him quadriplegic since 2007. He uses a wheelchair and has struggled to regain mobility.
This progress is attributed to Luger’s long-term work with DDP, for over a decade, aimed at regaining his mobility. DDP noted in the post’s caption, “My brother @GenuineLexLuger is a changed man on a new path.” Check out the video below:
Luger left WWE in 1995 and jumped to WCW without telling Vince McMahon because Eric Bischoff told him to keep it top secret. He showed up on the first episode of WCW Monday Nitro. Luger has been under contract with WWE as an ambassador.
Luger is one of the biggest names that is long overdue for an induction. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion stated that it would be a huge honor to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day. He has said in the past that he’s not sure why he’s not already in the Hall of Fame.
