Watch Mark Andrews Do A Stage Dive On Pete Dunne At Download Festival

WWE’s NXT brand is taking a tour around the United Kingdom and they’re having a bloody good time. They had to cancel a date in Manchester due to that awful terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert but the rest of the tour seems to be going off without a hitch.

NXT invaded the Download Festival for a show with the superstars of tomorrow and the brilliant Brits and otherwise from the United Kingdom Championship Tournament. They wanted to make sure everyone knew they were in town and they had a great idea how to let people know.

Mark Andrews and WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne showed up during one of the sets at the music festival to promote their show. Pete Dunne has a target on his back ever since he picked up the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Tyler Bate at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in a stunning display of wrestling story telling. So everyone wants to be the next in line to face The Bruiserweight.

Needless to say, it kind of got out of hand. But the crowd loved it. This is a sign that British Strong Style will never die and WWE is making great progress (pun intended) in moving into the United Kingdom market.

Pete Dunne decided to go all heel and left but Mark Andrews pulled off a rock concert tradition by stage diving onto Pete Dunne. The high risk move popped the crowd hard and there was no doubt an impression was made there. Nobody can deny this is a great promotional tactic. If you want to promote your next indie show, just invade a local rock show and start doing spots in-between sets.

Now watch that actually take off as a way indie guys are trying to get over with their local fan base and a bunch of videos will start popping up of kids at local scene shows interrupting some hardcore dancing for a suplex off the stage through a flaming table. Actually that would be awesome but the fire marshal would throw a fit.
