Mojo Rawley, who is good friends with New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, spoke with TMZ Sports where he talked about Gronk potentially joining the WWE long-term. This has been widely speculated on due to the NFL star appearing to wind down his career on the football field.
This is where Rawley admitted that he would be thrilled if his good friend decided to make the transition into the pro wrestling business in order to work alongside him in WWE. However, he did point out that Gronk is completely focused on this Sunday’s Superbowl 53.
“If you’re in the WWE, you’re a superstar,” Rawley stated. “It’s not easy to get in, but would he be awesome? I think it would be a good fit for him, yes, for sure.”
Also in this video, Rawley talked about the idea of a potential match with the quarterback for the New England Patriots, Tom Brady. This is where Rawley stated that he’d rather not pursue that challenge.
