Netflix has officially pulled back the curtain on the second season of its hit docuseries, WWE: Unreal. In a new announcement accompanied by a trailer, the streaming giant confirmed that the series is slated to return to screens on January 20, 2026. The upcoming season promises to dive even deeper into the chaotic world of professional wrestling, with the official synopsis teasing, “Wild plot twists. Larger-than-life personas. And a whole lot of drama. Go behind the scenes with the biggest Superstars and back into the writer’s room on the road to SummerSlam for Season 2 of WWE: Unreal.”
The format for the second season remains unchanged from the debut outing, consisting of five 50-minute episodes. These episodes are designed to provide fans with an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the lives of WWE Superstars, stripping away the character personas to reveal the real people behind them.
A key selling point for this season is the explicit mention of going “back into the writer’s room,” suggesting that the series will continue to break the fourth wall and show the creative process behind the storylines that play out on television. The series will spotlight top-tier talent, including Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, who have long been cornerstones of the company. Additionally, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is advertised as a primary focus.
The women’s division will be well represented in season two, with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Naomi, Chelsea Green, and Lyra Valkyria being featured.
