WATCH: New trailer for “Fast & Furious 9” movie featuring John Cena

A new trailer for the next installment in the movie franchise, “Fast & Furious 9,” was released during the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

The film was set to be released on May 22, 2020, but that got pushed back to 2021 due to COVID-19. Now, it’s slated to be out on May 28th.

Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron star in the film.

The plot reads like this, “Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his family must face against a new deadlier enemy in the form of Jakob (Cena), Dominic’s younger brother, as well as their old threat Cipher (Theron).”

The new trailer has also revealed that rapper Cardi B is playing Leysa, “a woman with a connection to Dom’s past”.
