You never know what can happen inside the squared circle and it looks like Bianca Belair might have been injured at a recent NXT house show.
Belair has faced off against Ember Moon several times before and they’ve toured around fighting it out for the last couple tours, but something went wrong on Thursday night in Canada.
During the same Mississauga house show where Ricochet blew the roof off the building by working a match, Ember Moon put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Bianca Belair and the finish did not go as planned.
Moon’s finisher is the Eclipse, a top-rope corkscrew stunner which is a pretty complicated move to pull off and she usually hits it perfectly. But as you can see from the clip below, it wasn’t too pretty when she hit it in Mississauga. Although Belair appeared to kick out at two, the referee called for the bell anyway.
Some were saying Bianca was injured in the botched move. Let’s hope this doesn’t cause WWE to yank Ember’s signature finishing move from her because accidents happen. Let’s also hope Bianca Belair is okay because she’s a young star with a lot of potential.
At this point, there is no official word on if she was injured in this spot, but fans in attendance noted that Bianca Belair appeared to be hurt after the botched Eclipse, but she could have always just been selling the move very well.

It’s clear that something was not right because wrestlers never kick out of finishing moves on house shows. At the very least, Belair was probably dazed for a few seconds and that might be why she kicked out when she wasn’t supposed to.
