WATCH: Ric Flair comments on John Cena possibly breaking his record of World Title reigns

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently spoke with WSVN-TV Entertainment Reporter Chris Van Vliet while in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During the interview, he was asked about if Cena will break his record of 16 World Title reigns. Cena tied Flair’s record of 16 World Title reigns when he defeated AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble earlier this year.

Cena is set to face Shinsuke Nakamura on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH to determine a new #1 contender to the WWE Championship. The winner of this match will face Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam next month. If Cena beats Mahal at the event, then he would break the record.

Flair said no because Cena has so many other things going on. He noted that he wouldn’t be surprised if Cena is not the host of Good Morning America or The Today Show. He said that Cena still loves wrestling, but he is so diversified now that he doesn’t see him chasing the championship. He added that if Cena does, then he is all about it.

Flair also talked about who he thinks is the most talented WWE Superstar right now and more. You can watch the interview below.
