WATCH: Saraya Shares More Training Footage Ahead Of WWE Royal Rumble

Saraya is fueling speculation regarding a potential return to the ring just days before one of the biggest events on the wrestling calendar. The former AEW Women’s World Champion and WWE Divas Champion shared a new video on Twitter on Thursday, showcasing her training progress in the squared circle.

In the clip, she can be seen locking up and running the ropes with renewed intensity. “Feeling like my old self again,” Saraya wrote in the caption accompanying the footage.

This marks the second such video she has posted in recent days, suggesting an effort to get back into fighting shape. Last week, the star formerly known as Paige posted a similar clip, noting that she was “just getting ring rust off.” The timing of these updates has sparked rumors that she could be a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this Saturday.

Adding fuel to the fire, reports indicate that Saraya’s schedule has unexpectedly cleared up for the weekend. She was originally slated to appear at a convention, but it was reported yesterday that the event has been delayed, leaving her technically free during the Royal Rumble festivities. This availability has led many to believe that a return to the company where she started her career could be imminent.

Saraya has been a free agent since exiting All Elite Wrestling following the October 8, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite, where she made her last in-ring appearance. She has not made any wrestling-related appearances since departing the promotion. Her run in AEW was highlighted by a return to action after a severe neck injury had previously forced her into retirement in WWE.

Despite her current free agent status, Saraya has previously played down rumors of a WWE comeback. Speaking back in June, she addressed the constant speculation that surrounds her whenever a mystery opponent or surprise return is teased.

“I haven’t had a conversation with them [WWE]. I know, I always get tagged in everything, as soon as there’s a mystery going around, they’re like, ‘Hey, she’s coming back.’ But no. I love the WWE, but no.”
