WATCH: Stephanie McMahon is hoping The Rock will be part of WrestleMania 37

Stephanie McMahon recently spoke with Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com to promote WrestleMania 37 on March 28, 2021 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

During the interview, McMahon talked about her hope that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be involved at the event. The Rock hasn’t been seen at WrestleMania since 2016 at WrestleMania 32 where he made a surprise appearance and had a quick squash match victory over Erick Rowan.

Since that time, The Rock has stated that he’s retired from in-ring action. However, a potential appearance for the pro wrestling legend can’t be ruled out. This is something that McMahon is hoping to see.

“We’re always talking to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and hoping he’s going to come back. Sometimes it pans out, sometimes it doesn’t. But we’re always talking.”

“I think The Rock is the perfect example of what happens when WWE and Hollywood come together. So I hope that he’ll be a part of it [WrestleMania 37], but I can’t promise anything.”

Roman Reigns, the cousin of The Rock, recently teased a potential match at this show against the former WWE Champion. For more on that, click here.
