The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin) was a beloved faction in WWE that was one of the rare highlights during the COVID-19 pandemic era of WWE.
Run
This was at a time where Lashley was the WWE Champion while Alexander and Benjamin found tag team success. WWE broke up The Hurt Business in early 2021. They kept Lashley and MVP together as MVP would be the manager of Lashley, who was pushed as a top star.
They did have a brief reunion run in 2022 before MVP sided with Omos, who began feuding with Lashley last year. The Hurt Business is officially done for now, following the release of Benjamin, while Lashley, MVP, and Alexander are still with WWE.
