For those of you wondering what is going on with The New Day, the video below will probably make things clear for anyone that thinks they were shooting on Twitter.
WWE has been pushing more reality-based stories on social media so everything said by Big E and Xavier Woods on Wednesday was just to further the storyline.
Following SmackDown Live after Kofi Kingston lost to Daniel Bryan, fans flooded WWE’s social media comments and many of them accused Vince McMahon of being racist. Big E played into that sentiment with his Twitter video (click here to see it).
Of course, Vince McMahon is not a racist and all signs point towards Kingston getting his WrestleMania title shot and that will likely become official on this coming Tuesday’s SmackDown Live or on the following week’s show.
In the video below, Woods says Kingston never had a chance to win and it doesn’t matter because “they don’t care.”
Woods said, “I think we should quit.” Big E agreed but Kingston didn’t seem like he was ready to do that just yet.
“You can go home to see your kids on a weekly basis,” Big E said to Kingston. However, Kingston said he’s been doing this for 11 years and he’s always climbed the mountain and “if we quit, then Vince wins. Then Daniel Bryan wins. We can’t quit. Not like this.”
