NBC shared the opening video package to kick off its coverage of this year’s Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
It features The Rock narrating while also showing various medal contenders representing the United States. He retweeted the video and wrote the following on his Twitter account:
“Of all the Olympics, this one in particular will always be ‘the one,’” Rock wrote. “The unbelievable challenges & setbacks our USA athletes are facing. Athletes representing every country as well. I’m very proud of and inspired by our TEAM USA. I’m honored. Now go take care of business.”
As noted, the next two weeks of NXT TV will move from the USA Network to Syfy on Tuesday nights during its same time slot due to the coverage of the Olympics. WWE has already taped these episodes and you can check out the spoilers here.
