WATCH: Training footage of Dominik Mysterio for his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam

Dominik Mysterio is slated to compete in his first-ever match and will be doing so on a big stage.

The son of Rey Mysterio is slated to take on Seth Rollins in a Street Fight at tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event. This has been one of the top storylines featured on WWE television in addition to other feuds such as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton and WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt.

At the beginning of the video, Dominik brought up an interesting stat that he shares with his father.

“It’s crazy to think that in 2002 you had your WWE pay-per-view debut at SummerSlam against Kurt Angle, and now 18 years later I get to make my debut against Seth Rollins.”

Rey responded by stating that is crazy to think. Dominik added that he’s really nervous yet ready and excited to go.

The former WWE Champion will be in the corner of his son for the contest as it continues the original feud between Rey and Rollins. Their last match came at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event that saw Rollins take out the eye of the legendary wrestler in an Eye for an Eye Match.
