In the latest “Where Are They Know?” segment on WWE.com, they caught up with former WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres. Eve (now Eve Torres Gracie) talked about getting signed by WWE in 2007 after competing in the Divas Search.
Eve talked about her work in WWE during her early years with the company but felt that she needed to do more in the ring. Up until around 2009 or 2010, she was usually featured in backstage segments as an interviewer and in bikini contests. Once she was allowed to wrestle, she would go on to become a 3-time Divas Champion.
She thanked WWE for allowing her to leave the company in 2013 on a good note and talked about how understanding and supportive Triple H was of her decision. Eve noted that she left the company because she wanted to start a family with her husband Rener Gracie. They run the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in California.
Nowadays, Eve teaches classes for women on self defense, she’s tried her hand at acting and she started her own themed-party business.
