Just hours after news broke of a WWE NXT developmental talent recently testing positive for COVID-19, Mojo Rawley shared footage of his swab test for the virus on social media.
Rawley took to his official Twitter account to show off the testing experience and wrote the following in the caption of the post:
"Precautionary #COVID19 testing! Gotta make sure we're healthy and safe to entertain the globe every week! I'm telling you, this test is really not bad at all! No pain, just a weird feeling! So don't hesitate in case you need to take your test! #StaySafe #StayHYPED.”
As we’ve noted earlier on the site, WWE has decided to make changes to their outdated testing policy. Before the revelation of the talent testing positive for the virus, WWE had been doing temperature checks and asking talent and staff whether they had any symptoms.
WWE is testing all talent, production workers, and other employees to see whether they have the virus today.
WWE halted the planned TV tapings on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center. The current plan is to resume TV tapings on Wednesday.
A new report has come out that revealed everyone at Monday’s WWE TV tapings were told not to wear masks and they found out about positive COVID-19 by reading social media. For more on that, click here.
