WWE has released a tribute video for the late former WWWF Champion Pedro Morales.
Morales was one of the most beloved wrestlers of his generation. He’s a former Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion and World Champion which would make him the first Triple Crown winner in company history. His WWWF title reign lasted three years.
Morales would continue wrestling into the mid-1980s and his final matches took place at live events in 1987. During this time, he became a commentator for Spanish-language WWF programming.
In later years, he dealt with health issues including Parkinson’s Disease.
