WATCH/LISTEN: Was Dolph Ziggler used as the voice of Sting this past Monday?

Yesterday we noted that the Sting video that aired on Raw was distorted on purpose because they wanted to play off of the Black Scorpion character in 1990. That's what people in WWE claimed when the question was asked by Dave Meltzer. Nevermind the fact that Sting was not the Black Scorpion and it was Sting that was in a storyline AGAINST the Black Scorpion. Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer newsletter that some people pointed out to him that the non-distorted version that has been posted online sounded like Ziggler at certain points and some fans have been saying the same thing on social media.

If they really did get someone else to do that promo on Monday then it really is mind boggling. I don't see why they couldn't just have Sting do the promo himself even if they just had him go into a studio near his home in Dallas to record it. The first video below is the original video that aired on Raw. The second one has the pitch corrected.
