Former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg is reportedly in talks with the WWE about a potential return to the company, according to TMZ Sports. TMZ Sports reported that “the wheels are in motion” for his return.
In recent years, Goldberg has not entertained the idea of a possible return, but when he signed a deal with 2K to be on the cover of WWE 2K17, he has talked more and more about wanting to return.
During SummerSlam week, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were cutting promos on each other. It’s always possible that WWE sets up a rematch between Lesnar and Goldberg because Goldberg has stated numerous times that he would like to wrestle one more match so his son can see him wrestle live. Lesnar and Goldberg wrestled at WrestleMania 20 in 2004.
