Will Ospreay on Potential WWE Jump: I Am Open to All Options Going Forward

Top NJPW star Will Ospreay has a big decision to make in early 2024 when his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling comes due, with plenty of promotions expected to bid for his services, including WWE, AEW, and Impact Wrestling.

Ospreay scored a win over Mike Bailey this past Saturday at the Impact Wrestling Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.

While speaking with Metro.co.uk about his future in the wrestling business, he acknowledged that he’s never had the machine behind him as he’s had to gamble on himself and is open to making the jump to WWE.

“Although we’ve spent so much money on our new kitchen, we are open to the idea of relocating to the United States. It’s on the table, that’s all I can really say,’ he added. ‘That means I am open to all options going forward.’

Ospreay also noted that the potential match with Seth Rollins, something both stars have expressed interest in, does intrigue him to consider joining WWE.

‘But now it’s time for me to really gauge and see what’s out there. So the Seth thing does intrigue me quick a lot. I heard him say in a promo, his 100% is the best in the world. While I can sit here comfortably and say I am one of the top wrestlers in the world right now, there is other things to learn. Do I have an ego about this stuff? Of course I do, look at the catalogue and look what I’ve delivered,’ he said.
