There was some talk in the last couple of days amongst people in WWE about Sting. The big talking point was that Sting will be in New Orleans for WrestleCon on WrestleMania Sunday. Bryan Alvarez reported today that people in WWE believe that Sting will be debuting at WrestleMania 30 and they believe Sting has signed a deal with the company.
I will confirm that I heard from 2 people close to Sting that Sting has indeed signed a deal but his debut date is up in the air. They may hold Sting’s debut off until the next night on Raw. The idea that was discussed was for The Undertaker to appear on the night after WrestleMania and then have Sting issue the challenge to wrestle The Undertaker in a career vs. career match for WrestleMania 31. This would lay the foundation down for a one year build. WWE wants to film interviews for the WWE Network when the WCW weekly shows get released so they want to make sure he makes his big debut before then.
