The 2k franchise did wonders for WWE's video game presence. Each year the 2k team seems to add an extra coat of polish to the game's presentation making the Superstars jump out off the screen and the mechanics seem to improve as well. But a lot of what sells a video game is who's on the cover and it looks like they're finally ready to announce who got that honor this year.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reported over the weekend that AJ Styles would be on the cover of this year's game and it looks like that's exactly what happened.

It was also reported that Ronda Rousey will be the special pre-order downloadable character but that piece of information is still yet to be confirmed or denied at this point. But we know who is going to be on the cover and it's a phenomenal choice.

AJ Styles will join a long line of main event superstars such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and more who were featured on the cover of a WWE 2k video game. It also has to be a pretty cool honor for someone like AJ Styles who appreciates video games so much.
