WWE 2K26 MyGM Mode To Include New PLEs, GMs, And More

2K Games has released the latest Ringside Report for WWE 2K26, detailing substantial updates to the MyGM mode, including a new difficulty setting, expanded match rules, and an increased roster of General Managers.

GM Season and Budget Updates

WWE 2K26 introduces several foundational changes to how players set up and manage their brands:

Season Length: The default setting for a GM season has been increased to 50 weeks.

Starting Budgets: Players now have five budget options, ranging from $3M to $7M (with $5M as the default). These higher budgets are designed to support larger average roster sizes of approximately 20-35 superstars per brand.

Immortal Difficulty: A new Game and AI difficulty setting called Immortal has been added for players seeking a greater challenge than the existing “Extreme” level.

Timer Adjustments: Based on community feedback, the booking timer now remains paused at the start of each week, requiring a manual start to give players more preparation time.

New Match Types and Rules

The game significantly expands the variety of matches that can be booked on a weekly basis:

Supported Match Rules: MyGM now supports 5-way, 6-way, and 8-way matches, alongside new configurations such as 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, Triple Threat Tag, and Fatal Four Way Tag.

Handicap Matches: New handicap rules include 1 vs 2, 1 vs 3, and 1 vs 4.

Match Types: Weekly booking options now include the Ladder Match, Battle Royal, Bloodline Rules, I Quit, Inferno, Dumpster, and 3 Stages of Hell.

Expanded General Manager Roster

The full GM roster now includes 20 options, featuring three new additions:

New GMs: Bobby Heenan, Stacy Keibler, and the Anonymous General Manager.

GM Drafting: For the first time, GMs who are playable within the game (such as CM Punk) can be drafted to a roster with no restrictions, allowing a superstar to serve as both the brand’s GM and an active wrestler.

Randomization: Players now have the option to use random GMs and random brand selections.

Premier Live Events (PLEs) in MyGM

This year’s MyGM mode features a mix of returning and new PLEs:

Returning: Backlash, Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank, Summer Slam, and WrestleMania.

New additions: Clash at Paris, Crown Jewel, Battleground, Evolution, Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc, Night of Champions, No Mercy, Worlds Collide, Survivor Series: War Games, and Elimination Chamber.

Strategic Gameplay Features

Double-Booking: Players can now have a superstar cut a promo and compete in a match on the same show, which further reduces that superstar’s stamina cost.

Custom Championships: Support for custom championships has been added for offline play, allowing for full customization of titles across brands.

Power Card Updates: Power Cards can now be traded during designated trade weeks. Players also have the option to disable the Power Card Store for a more strategic experience, meaning cards must be earned through goals and perks rather than purchased.

WWE 2K26 is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026, with early access beginning on March 6 for premium editions.
