WWE has announced a new tagline for Monday Night Raw.
During Friday Night SmackDown, a commercial aired hyping “Monday Night Raw: In Your Face” with several big matches announced for the show. The tagline is likely temporary and probably meant as an extra hook to get fans to tune in since they will be up against the return of Monday Night Football.
Announced for Raw: In Your Face:
– Asuka will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Asuka
– Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage Match
– The Street Profits vs. Cesaro/Shinsuke Nakamura in a champions vs. champions match
– Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee
It will be interesting to see what the ratings look like for Raw with a loaded show up against Monday Night Football. WWE saw a ratings bump when they debuted the ThunderDome but the numbers have been dropping in the last couple of weeks.
