As noted on Wednesday, Paige will be returning to WWE and the word was that she would be back on Monday at Raw in Memphis. If she returns on Monday then it would be in a non-physical role because she still needs to heal up from her neck and back issues. They could always delay her return but she is considered to be back. Paige’s brother Zak also noted on Facebook that she would be back this Monday.
Although people close to her might deny it, she did quit WWE last week but talks between her and the company continued and things were settled. There were people urging her to stay with the company.
It’s interesting that the company almost made the decision to fire her several weeks ago and the company actually had a date set for when they were going to announce her release but they had a change of heart. This was before they announced her wellness policy violation and during the time when they were announcing several releases.
There is skepticism over the excuse about missing the drug test. The fact is that she did pass the drug test but it was days later after they first tried finding her. Paige is one of the most talented women on the roster so hopefully, things get back on track for her and she can move past the negative stories. Her WWE deal expires in 2019.
