WrestleMania 35 has come and gone and now they are looking towards WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2020. WWE is also looking towards 2021 and there is already a frontrunner to host WrestleMania 37.
Arash Markazi from the Los Angeles Times is reporting that the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 37 is Los Angeles, California.
A deal has not been reached yet but if it happens then the show would take place in Inglewood, in the new football stadium being constructed. The stadium will open in 2020 and will host NFL games for the Rams and Chargers.
“We know the power of the WWE brand,” said Kathy Schloessman, president of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission. “They have hosted several events here in the past such as Summer Slam, Survivor Series, Raw and SmackDown and we have seen the tremendous impact these events have in the community, both economically and socially. Given our focus on attracting major sporting and entertainment events to Los Angeles, WrestleMania is at the top of our list of events we want here.”
