WWE Reportedly Discussing First-Ever Premium Live Event In Italy For May 2026

WrestleVotes and Fightful Select reported that WWE has discussed holding a Premium Live Event (PLE) in Italy in May 2026.

The decision to bring a PLE to Italy follows a string of successful international events over the last few years. WWE has seen record-breaking crowds and gate revenues from events such as Clash at the Castle in the United Kingdom, Backlash in France, and Bash in Berlin in Germany.

International Strategy

Under the TKO Group Holdings banner, WWE has prioritized securing site fees and government subsidies for its major events. This business model has led to PLEs being hosted in diverse locations ranging from Puerto Rico to Australia. Italy now joins the growing list of nations securing a flagship event, tapping into a fanbase that has traditionally only been served by non-televised “house shows” during European tours.
