WWE announces four matches for this Wednesday’s NXT

Coming off Wednesday’s big numbers for AEW Dynamite, it looks like WWE plans on stacking up this coming Wednesday’s episode of NXT as AEW continues to gain momentum.

WWE has announced Rhea Ripley vs. Toni Storm for this Wednesday night’s NXT broadcast on the USA Network. This match was made after Ripley ran in to save Ember Moon from Storm’s attack.

WWE has also announced Kyle O’Reilly vs. Pete Dunne. The winner will challenge Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at the New Year’s Evil show on January 6.

In tag team action, KUSHIDA and Leon Ruff will team up and they will take on North American Champion Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory.

Also, Karrion Kross will return to in-ring action this Wednesday night. Kross returned this past Wednesday to attack Damian Priest. Also, Scarlett returned earlier in the show and it was strongly implied that Kross will look to challenge for the NXT Championship at some point in the near future, probably after his feud with Priest.
