WWE has announced the hiring of Christine Lubrano. She will be the new Senior Vice President, Creative Writing Operations for the company.
Lubrano has an extensive background in Hollywood. She was the SVP of Original Programming and Development for the IFC cable network and she bas been in the television industry for over 20 years.
It’s not clear yet who she reports to as Bruce Prichard is currently the main person in creative who reports to Vince McMahon. There has been a lot of criticism about the writing of the weekly WWE shows so perhaps things can turn around with Lubrano on board.
