WWE Announces Return To Japan With Two SuperShow Events

WWE has officially announced its return to Japan with a pair of “WWE SuperShow Japan” live events scheduled for this coming October. The shows will take place at the iconic Sumo Hall in Tokyo.

WWE SuperShow Japan Set For October

The company will run Sumo Hall on back-to-back nights, with events scheduled for Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18. A host of top stars from the Monday Night Raw roster are advertised for the tour, including GUNTHER, AJ Styles, IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Sami Zayn, and The New Day.

A Return To Japan

These will be WWE’s first events in the country since July 2024. Only Raw talent is advertised for the tour, as the Friday night show in Tokyo conflicts with a live broadcast of SmackDown in San Jose, California. Tickets for the “WWE SuperShow Japan” events are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Saturday, August 30.

The tour announcement comes just days before many of the advertised stars are set to compete at WWE’s biggest party of the summer. This weekend at the two-night SummerSlam premium live event, GUNTHER is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk, and AJ Styles will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley will also be in a marquee triple threat match for the Women’s World Championship.
