WWE announces Seth Rollins has been “medically cleared” for SummerSlam match

WWE has provided a storyline medical update on Seth Rollins.

Despite the beatings that he has suffered at the hands of WWE Universal Brock Lesnar on WWE television over the last two weeks, Rollins has been cleared to compete at SummerSlam. WWE made the news known on Twitter this morning:

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh, PA at the PPG Paints Arena on the USA Network, Lesnar once again attacked Rollins in the ring to further sell the angle the week before.

Last week’s Raw saw Lesnar attack Rollins to the point that WWE had him sell internal bleeding and “The Beast” hitting his signature moves to the point where he had to be taken by ambulance to a local medical facility to get check out.

The SummerSlam pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena. At this show, Rollins challenges Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title.
