The Greatest Royal Rumble could end up being one of WWE’s biggest shows of 2018. They are doing everything to load the show up as much as possible with every name on the active roster expected to appear.
For weeks, there has been speculation that the show would air live on the WWE Network. Well, that has finally been confirmed by WWE. The event, hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will take place on Friday, April 27 and will air live at 12 pm eastern. There will be a one-hour Kickoff show at 11 am eastern/8 am pacific time.
In addition to the 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match, the show will also feature John Cena vs. Triple H and seven championship matches. WWE has announced that The Bar will defend against The Hardy Boz and The Miz will defend the Intercontinental Title against Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. Of course, these matches are subject to change based on what happens at WrestleMania.
We’ll pass along more news on additional match-ups when we get more updates.
