Kickoff Show
Bayley vs. Ruby Riott
They did a backstage segment with Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley asked Banks to be in her corner. Banks did not want to hear it so Bayley then told her that she doesn’t need Banks. Banks told Bayley that she is on her own tonight. Bayley lost the match thanks to interference from the Riott Squad. Banks watched on the monitor backstage.

Intercontinental Championship
Seth Rollins (Champion) vs. The Miz
Very good match as you would expect from these two guys. Late in the match, Rollins and Miz fought on the ring apron. Rollins tried to hit Miz with his knee but Miz moved and the knee hit the ring post. Miz immediately locked Rollins in the figure four leglock but Rollins was able to break it by moving to the bottom rope. Later, Rollins “injured” knee gave out as Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale. There was a huge pop when Rollins kicked out of the pin attempt. Rollins hit a super plex and then Miz turned around and hit the Skull Crushing Finale again while Rollins “injured” knee gave out on him. Rollins kicked out again from the pin attempt. Later, Rollins the curb stomp and then pinned Miz to retain the title. Awesome match.

Raw Women’s Championship
Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss
This was a decent back and forth match. Jonathan Coachman said if Bliss wins the title, it would be one of the greatest championship wins in the history of the women’s title. I guess Coach hasn’t been keeping up with the product during the last few years. Anyway, the match ended when Jax caught Bliss as she was trying to hit the Twisted Bliss. Jax hit the Samoan Drop and then got the pin to retain the title.

Renee Young interviewed Jax after the match as Bliss cried at ringside. Jax said that the title represents anyone who has been bullied and it’s ok to be different.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes interviewed Samoa Joe.

United States Championship
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton
The match was slow for the first several minutes. There was a “Rusev Day” chant when Orton had a chokehold on Hardy. Hardy got the clean win with the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.

Elias musical performance
Elias claimed to be friends with New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen and then he ripped on the fans. The New Day walked out and offered to do a joint concert with Elias. Then he was interrupted by Aiden English and Rusev as the fans chanted “Rusev Day.” Elias tried to resume his concert but he was interrupted by No Way Jose and the conga line. The conga line included Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews, Dana Brooke, and Breezango. Elias tried to start his concert again but Bobby Roode appeared in the ring and hit him with the Glorious DDT. No Way Jose’s music and everyone danced to the backstage area. This segment was set up so they could get some more names on the show since dual branded shows mean more wrestlers will be left out each month.

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass
Cass dominated most of the match but Bryan won by hooking him in the “Yes” Lock and making Cass tap. Cass attacked Bryan after the match. Click here for more on this match.

Smackdown Women’s Championship
Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair
Nothing special about this match. Carmella trash talked for most of it. The finish was Charlotte tweaking her knee after attempting a moonsault off the top. Carmella noticed it and then kicked her in the knee and rolled her up and pinned her.

WWE Championship – No Disqualification Match
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
This was a hard-hitting match. It was probably the second best match of the night behind Rollins and Miz. Nakamura brought a chair into the ring. The match ended in a double count out when both men kicked each other below the below. Click here for more on this match.

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
It looks like Sami and Kevin will be breaking up again. They argued at ringside because Sami did not want to get in the ring with Braun. Sami shoved Kevin into the ring. Then Sami was shoved in the ring by Kevin. Sami slapped Kevin and then walked off and claimed that it was an accident. Lashley hit a spinebuster on Owens and the delayed suplex. Lashley pinned him. Strowman and Lashley bet up Owens after the match as Zayn complained at ringside. Strowman caught up to Zayn and brought him in the ring and hit him with a powerslam.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe
Joe got most of the offense during this match but Reigns won after hitting the spear. Click here for more on this match. The announcers mentioned that Reigns still has unfinished business with Brock Lesnar so it looks like Lesnar vs. Reigns will happen again next month at Money In The Bank.
