Liv Morgan has officially returned to the WWE fold following a hiatus from in-ring action. After being sidelined, Morgan is cleared for competition and made her return to the ring during the recent WWE holiday tour. Morgan defeated Lyra Valkyria in matches on the tour, shaking off the “ring rust” before she works on television.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE management has significant plans for the former Women’s World Champion heading into WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. There is currently an internal push to showcase Morgan as a “centerpiece” of the women’s division at the event.
Several inside sources indicate that the company wants her featured “prominently,” potentially in a high-profile singles capacity rather than a tag team role. Morgan’s return adds significant depth to the roster as the “Road to WrestleMania” officially begins.
She is one of the front-runners in betting odds to win this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. WWE is also reportedly delaying championship plans for her. For more on that, click here.
