There is a new update on the injury to WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. According to a report from PWInsider.com, Mysterio is currently dealing with a rib cage issue.
The good news is that he is not expected to be out of action for a lengthy period. The injury that led WWE to pull Mysterio’s scheduled Intercontinental Championship defense against AJ Styles from this Saturday’s Night of Champions premium live event.
The cancellation of the match was announced on the June 23 episode of Monday Night Raw. It is not yet known when Mysterio will be cleared to return to the ring.
