WWE changed the finish of a match on Monday’s Raw

It turns out that WWE officials decided to change the finish of a certain match at aired on Raw

It was noted by Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE changed plans with who would win the tag team match between WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors and the team of Charlotte Flair & Natalya.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Uniondale, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the USA Network, Asuka tapped out to Natalya’s Sharpshooter.

The original plan had Asuka and Kairi Sane getting the win. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on why the finish was changed.

There is speculation that a possible reason Natalya may have got the win was to keep the momentum going from her win over Lacey Evans at the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event.

Then, there’s speculation on Flair and Natalya getting a title shot from Asuka and Sane soon.

By looking up their match stats, it marked their second win in the past month. Their first match came when they defeated The IIconics on the October 28 episode of Raw.
