The lineup for the Madison Square Garden show for 2/27 has changed. The show, being billed as Hulk Hogan Appreciation Night, is now headlined by John Cena vs. Rusev for the U.S. title. That might be the first time the U.S. title has headlined a Madison Square Garden show.
Also, Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan vs. Kane and Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro are the other top matches on the show. Chris Jericho is also scheduled to be on the show. He wraps up his current commitments with WWE a few days later.
As noted yesterday, Jon Jones hung out with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon during Super Bowl weekend. Triple H and Stephanie got tickets from the Patriots organization and Jones’ brother Chandler plays on the team. Jon Jones is a fan of Triple H and his management tried to work out a deal a couple of years ago for Jones to appear at WrestleMania. The idea was that it would help expose him to a new audience but nothing came out of it.
