At WWE Clash at The Castle, Rey Mysterio and Edge (with Dominik Mysterio in their corner) took on The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest (with Rhea Ripley in their corner). Edge went out to the ring with a mask like Rey.
After the first couple of minutes, Priest and Balor dominated the middle part of the match. The faces turned things around. Edge hit a 619 on Priest to almost win the match for his team. Edge then speared Priest through the ropes and to the floor.
Edge went to spear Balor but Balor countered with the Slingblade, running drop kick and he attempted the Coup de Grace but Dominik caused a distraction that allowed Rey to hit a Hurricanrana off the top. Rhea took out Dominik at ringside.
Moments later, Rey hit a 619 and Edge hit a spear and that was enough for him to pin Balor. Edge and Rey celebrated and then Dominik hit Edge with a low blow. Rey pleaded with his son to stop and then Dominik nailed him with a clothesline so the heel turn has finally happened.
