Kofi Kingston put his WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton at Clash of Champions. They continued the storyline about Randy hodling Kofi back a decade ago. Last week on SmackDown Live at Madison Square Garden, Kofi hit the Boom Drop on Randy through a table just like he did in 2009 at MSG.
They started out slow but the pace picked up as the match progressed. Late in the match, it looked like Orton was about to win the match after he hit the RKO but Kingston got his foot on the bottom rope just before the referee counted to three. Orton went for the punt but Kingston moved and hit the Trouble in Paradise to get the pin and retain the title.
This was a conclusive finish and looks like it could be the end for their feud.
