The Best Of Seven series concluded on tonight’s WWE Clash Of Champions. Sheamus and Cesaro were tied 3-3 leading into tonight’s pay-per-view. These two have been wrestling each other on house shows over the last several weeks but none of those matches (except the one in London) counted.
The crowd seemed into the match and both guys worked hard. Cesaro actually hit Rey Mysterio’s 619 at one point in the match. There was a very scary looking suicide dive. Cesaro’s head went head first into Sheamus’ and then he landed on the back of his head. He’s lucky that he didn’t break his neck. The announcers pushed that this match could lead to a future title opportunity for the winner.
In the end, Cesaro clotheslined Sheamus over the barricade but the match was stopped because the referee deemed that both men could not continue and the doctor said that Cesaro had a bad arm. It was a great match but a flat finish. The announcers wondered what this means for their best of 7 series because there was no winner.
