WWE is teasing that they may be involved in the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament. The Headbangers burt onto the scene in WWE in 1997. They went on to win the WWE Tag Team Championship and Thrasher is a former WWE Hardcore Champion. The Headbangers are the latest names to return to the company as part of WWE’s strategy to bring back veterans to help put over younger talent.
