WWE considering digital inductions for some Hall Of Famers in this year’s class

WWE is less than a month from holding the ceremony for this year’s Hall Of Fame class and only two inductees have been announced thus far - The Undertaker and Vader. It’s already been confirmed that Vince McMahon will induct “The Deadman.”

The ceremony will take place on Friday, April 1st from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas and will air live on Peacock after Friday Night SmackDown.

Dave Meltzer noted on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that he has heard talk of WWE doing digital inductions for some of the wrestlers with the idea of having Taker and Vader’s family take the stage that night because it’s being held late at night. The ceremony will have a 90-minute window from 10:30 to midnight eastern or 9:30 to 11 local time.

“I’ve heard that they may announce this class. It’ll happen, but it will be like digital inductions, maybe, in some of the cases, as opposed to whatever it is. Undertaker’s going to get the big grand treatment. I would presume Vader probably will, he was a really big star. A lot of the other guys, there’s been talk of, you know, again, with 90 minutes, not even doing them as part of that ceremony, but just doing it digitally.”
