WWE continues to tease the introduction of Women’s Tag Team Titles that have been rumored to be unveiled for several months now.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center on the USA Network, WWE had a segment where Alexa Bliss hosted another Open Forum that featured Sasha Banks and Balya taking questions from “fans” at ringside.
One of the questions was about any changes they would like to see be made to the division next year which is where Baylay stated that she would like for her and Banks to become the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. You can see the segment here:
Also, after the show, WWE’s official website posted a poll asking fans if they would like to see the company introduce the titles in 2019.
There were many fans who believed that the perfect time to introduce the titles would’ve been at the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event, Evolution, back on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York. Obviously, that didn’t happen. Perhaps, WWE waits until WrestleMania 35 next April to introduce the straps.
