WWE Creative Is interested In Booking Big Intergender Match

WWE rarely does intergender matches these days compared to in the past, especially in the Ruthless Aggression era of the company. However, one match may be big enough for WWE to book.

Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has been in a program with Rhea Ripley since after WrestleMania 40. At the start of their program, Ripley was injured and vacated the Women’s World Title. Morgan went over Becky Lynch to win the vacant Women’s World Title at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE.

At SummerSlam, Morgan went over Ripley in their grudge match to retain the title with the help of Dominik Mysterio. At Bash in Berlin, Morgan and Mysterio went over Ripley and Damian Priest in a mixed tag team match before Ripley got a DQ win over Morgan, thanks to Raquel Rodriguez’s attack.

Along the way, Mysterio is in the middle of this feud and turns on Ripley. On a recent edition of a Backstage Pass Q&A, there has been talk of doing Mysterio vs. Ripley.

WrestleVotes stated, “I know it’s been brought up. Unfortunately, I don’t know how high it’s made it, but there is a real desire on some level of creative to do this match before the angle fizzles out. Yes.”

It was added, “I don’t know how far down the table it went. From a lower end, yes, there’s an anticipation of getting something out of this.
