WWE Crown Jewel Results: John Cena Pays Tribute To Several Legends, Tops AJ Styles In Classic Match

John Cena vs. AJ Styles took place at the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. 

Styles had his throwback TNA gear on for this one. It was a slow start with AJ beating him down as Cena was a step behind. Cena made a comeback and hit an AA for 2. AJ with a neck breaker for 2. AJ with a UFO slam for 2. AJ went for the styles clash, but Cena avoided it and locked in the STF. AJ got out and put him in the move. Cena put AJ in the Walls of Jericho and Michael Cole called it exactly that. AJ got out and put him in the calf crusher. Styles with the styles clash for 2. AJ went for the springboard forearm shot, but Cena caught him with Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail for 2. AJ with the angels wings. They traded strikes before Cena went for the pedigree, but AJ blocked and did a reverse piledriver. Orton hit Randy Orton’s draping DDT then the RKO for 2. Cena went for the punt only for AJ to hit the AA for 2. AJ went for the five knuckle shuffle, but Cena caught him with a chokeslam for 2. Cena went for 619, but AJ cut him off. AJ with the superkick for 2. AJ went for the phenomenal forearm and hit it for 2. Cena hit the AA for 2. Cena caught a diving AJ and hit the tombstone then the AA for the win. 

Winner: Cena
