WWE Deadline Results: Tony D’Angelo Returns, Je’Von Evans Wins Iron Survivor Challenge

Myles Borne vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Joe Hendry vs. Dion Lennox vs. Leon Slater in the Men’s Survivor Challenge took place at the WWE Deadline Premium Live Event from San Antonio, Texas. The winner will become the new #1 contender for the NXT Title.

Slaters and Evans started things off. Evans got a pin fall on Slater before Borne was next in. Slater and Evans fought to the floor before Borne took them out with a dive. Evans with a series of suplexes for 2. Dion was next in and scored a pin fall on Evans. Evans came out of the box strong, by taking out multiple people and hit a frog splash off the top rope for 2 on Borne. Hendry was the next man in and cleaned house including a dual fall away slam. Hendry tossed three stars out of the ring and hit a dive. Hendry with a powerslam to score a fall on Borne. Slater with a 450 splash to Hendry for a fall after hitting a coast to coast drop kick to Evans. Borne pinned Dion with his finisher. There was a wild sequence everyone mixing things up and Hendry hit a clothesline to Evans with three minutes left. Dion threw Evans and the official into the box with only one ref left to count the fall. Hendry with a chokeslam to Dion. Evans climbed out of the box and hit a dive onto Dion. Slater with a dive over the ring post to take out Evans. Evans with an RKO to Dion then Evans hit a cutter off the top rope to Slater. Borne with a neck better to Evans off the middle rope. Slater with a 450 splash to Evans before hendry and Slater went to the floor. Myles ran into the ring and Evans pinned him with 4 seconds left to win.

Winner: Evans
