WWE denied several trademarks due to lack of written consent from wrestlers



WWE is once again facing some challenges with filing certain trademarks.

WWE submitted seven trademarks last October, but they have been denied by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The listed reason for this is due to a lack of written consent from talent who perform under the names. has obtained documentation for the trademarks, which will be abandoned in six months if WWE doesn’t comply. Here are the names:

Just last year, WWE faced similar issues filing trademarks for several stars such as Drew Gulak, Pete Dunne, Mercedes Martinez, Keith Lee, Raquel González and Mia Yim.

It should be noted that the likes of Yim, Lee, and Martinez registered the trademark for their respective names on their own, outside the company.
